Iran Press/ Iran news: "Ebrahim Rezaei," the head of the Iran-Kuwait parliamentary friendship group in Iran's parliament, met on Sunday with Badr Abdullah al-Munikh," the new ambassador of Kuwait to Tehran.
Rezaei expressed hope for positive and important developments in the relations between the two countries and said: "At the status quo, the two neighboring friendly and brotherly countries will try to improve relations between them in all dimensions, including parliamentary relations."
The head of the Iran-Kuwait Parliamentary Friendship Group in the parliament added: "Normalizing relations with the Zionist regime will not only help the security of the region, but also lead to the development of insecurity."
Rezaei also said: "The people of the region will not welcome normalization of ties with the Zionist regime."
The new ambassador of Kuwait in Tehran, also in the meeting, referring to the important role and position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region, said: "Relations between Iran and Kuwait are historical, long-standing and strong, and this capacity can be used to further develop and expand the ties between the two countries."
The ambassador of Kuwait to Tehran, while expressing his country's desire and interest in developing relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially in the commercial and economic dimension, said: "The volume of trade relations between the two countries was an acceptable figure in the past, and we hope to return to that level and even higher with joint efforts."
