Iran Press/Iran News: Sima Sadat Lari on Wednesday at his daily press conference said that with 119 new deaths in the past 24 hours, the death toll from the virus has reached to 21,020 people.
"Unfortunately, 2,243 new cases were diagnosed since yesterday, and 1,121 of whom were hospitalized so the total number of COVID-19 patients reached 365,606," Lari said.
According to the spokeswoman, 3,831 patients are in severe conditions.
The spokeswoman added that 3,113,806 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been conducted in Iran so far.
Announcing that 26 provinces of the country are still in a state of alert or red, she added: "Mazandaran, Tehran, Qom, North Khorasan, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, Kerman, Zanjan, Qazvin, Semnan, East Azerbaijan, Yazd, and Gilan are in the state of red."
According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Fars, Ilam, Lorestan, Hormozgan, West Azerbaijan, Bushehr, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Ardabil, Kermanshah, South Khorasan, Markazi, Golestan, and Khuzestan are also on alert.
