A spokesman for the Red Crescent Society said that 159 shipments of humanitarian aid cargos have been sent from Iran to Lebanon.

Iran Press/Middle East: Attending press conference on Sunday, Mohammad Nasiri described the latest situation at the Red Crescent Field Hospital in Beirut, adding that 2,500 people in Beirut benefited from the relief services of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, until last night (Saturday), and now 18 Red Crescent specialists and subspecialists are present at the Red Crescent Society Hospital in Beirut.

Referring to the Government Week, Nasiri said that special work had been done in the last six months and 1,400 Red Crescent houses have been built in the country, and 1,000 crescent houses would be opened during the Government Week.

The spokesman for the Red Crescent Society also announced the distribution of N95 masks on the occasion of Government Week in medical centers, hospitals, and universities in deprived areas and cities.

Nasiri referred to holding a " health campaign donation" in Muharram and said: "The campaign will start today, and the aim is to increase the safety of deprived villages and providing services for mourners in Muharram; therefore, the campaign will continue its activity by collecting donations from the people and Red Crescent.

Nasiri went on to say that, the Red Crescent youth will provide services for people during the days of Muharram within the framework of the health protocols of the coronavirus headquarters.

He emphasized that rescue operations have been decreased by 53% in the new year, and rescue teams have carried out 2162 operations this year, compared to 4038 operations last year.
