Iran's foreign minister, at a meeting with Lebanese parliament speaker, announced Iran's readiness to cooperate with the Lebanese government in meeting Lebanon's current needs.

Iran Press/Middle East: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is visiting Lebanon, met with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and expressed solidarity and sympathy with the Lebanese people and government in the explosion at the port of Beirut, emphasizing that Iran is ready to meet Lebonan's current needs. 

He also congratulated the 14th anniversary of Lebanon's victory in the 33-day war with the Zionist regime of Israel.

Mohammad Javad Zarif, who arrived in Lebanon last night (Thursday), has so far met with Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab and Lebanese Foreign Minister Charbel Wahba.

During these meetings, Zarif emphasized Iran's support for the victims of the Beirut port accident and expressed the condolences and sympathy of the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the people and government of Lebanon.
