Iran Press/ Iran News: Sima Sadat Lari on Tuesday reported the latest data on the Coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus, announcing that 296,273 people have definitely been infected with the Coronavirus, so far.
"According to the definitive laboratory findings and from Yesterday to July 28, 2,667 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country, out of whom 1,687 of patients were hospitalized," the spokeswoman added.
She said: "In the past 24 hours, 235 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, bringing the total number of deaths to 16,147."
According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Tehran, Mazandaran, Fars, East and Azerbaijan, Khorasan Razavi, Ardabil, Isfahan, Alborz, Ilam, Kerman, North Khorasan, Semnan, Lorestan, and Hormozgan are in the red alert. 104/207
