Amir Abdollahian meeting with the Italian Ambassador to Tehran Giuseppe Perrone

Tehran (IP) - Iranian Parliament Speaker's Special Aide for International Affairs called escalation of US sanctions against Iran as the failed economic terrorism saying that the Islamic Republic of Iran would definitely find the way out of the newly imposed sanctions powerfully, depending on the internal capabilities.

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at a meeting with the Italian Ambassador to Tehran Giuseppe Perrone on Thursday, Hossein Amir Abdollahian referred to Iran's success in passing through US sanctions, saying that Europe must find a way to avoid losing the chance for active economic cooperation with Iran.

Iran's Senior Diplomat called the unconstructive behavior of the United States, the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia as the destabilizing factors fomenting instability in the region, saying that the US obvious support of the terrorist outfits, as well as its interventionist approach in the affairs of the regional countries, have led to the escalation of the crises.

Talking about the historical-cultural ties between Iran and Italy, Amir Abdollahian said that Iran's Parliament welcomes the expansion of parliamentary relations with Italy.

Giuseppe Perrone, for his part, pointed to the Tehran-Rome cooperation, saying that the Italian government's policy is aimed at cementing ties with Iran.

During the event, the two sides also exchanged views and discussed the latest regional and international developments including Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and the EU together with the COVID-19 crisis.
