Iran Press/ Iran news: Kianoush Jahanpour on Thursday, June 4 reported the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus.
He said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 4th in the country, 3,574 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 164,270."
Jahanpour added: "494 of new patients were hospitalized and 3,080 were outpatients."
"Fortunately, 127,485 patients have recovered and have been discharged so far," Jahanpour added.
The Spokesman said: "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 59 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 8,071people have lost their lives in the country to date."
He stated: "2,569 patients are in a critical condition."
So far, just over 1 million (actual number 1,019,362) COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokesman said.
