Tehran(IP): Iran which was totally in need regarding medical gowns, is now ready to export to other countries, head of Food and Drug Administration said.

Iran Press/Iran news: On the sideline of the unveiling ceremony of 7 types of medical gowns, head of Iran's Food and Drug Administration Mohammad-Reza Shanehsaz in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said that we used to import these gowns but now we can meet the country’s need and also we have increased our production to 50 fold more than before coronavirus outbreak.

The official added, “We do not need to import the protective products, while we used to import cloth for producing 2000 gowns daily. Today we produce 100/000 gowns per day.”

“In less than 50 days, we now support our country exponentially and can export and earn currency for our country “, he concluded.
