Iran Press/ Iran news: According to the Iran news agency, the international Islamic humanities conference on the thought of Allameh Mohammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi (RA) started a few minutes ago with the presence of thinkers from the Islamic seminary in Qom and universities inside and outside Iran at Imam Khomeini's (RA) Educational and Research Institute in Qom.
According to this report, this international conference will continue for two days, in the morning and in the evening, with the holding of specialized commissions on various topics, and it will end on the evening of Friday, June 16.
Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Ali Misbah the son of late Allameh Mohammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi (RA) , the scientific secretary of the international conference "Islamic Humanities in the Thought of Allama Muhammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi (RA)" presented a report on the conference process.
Cleric official: Humanities are identity builders
Speaking at The international conference "Islamic Humanities in the Thought of Allameh Mohammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi (RA)", Ayatollah Mahmoud Rajabi, head of Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute said that one of the important missions of the Islamic Seminary is its contribution to building social culture and the creation of the modern Islamic civilization for the future of the mankind.
He further stressed that all of these important issues must be done based on Islamic thoughts.
The prominent cleric further elaborated:" One of the important characteristics of the Humanities is to create identity or identification. As he believes in case this is done correctly, the men of thought can use it together with representing the related worldview.
Elsewhere; Ayatollah Mahmoud Rajabi said that humanities are culture builders.
Rajabi also stressed that the arrogant dominance over the world relies on the fact that they have superimposed their false cultures over the societies so it is the mission of men of thought to create the true and correct social culture.
The head of Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute called to defend Islamic values of ideals.
He also said that the secular humanities are a source of the most important harm.

Speaking at the international conference "Islamic humanities in the thought of Allameh Mohammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi (RA)" the head of Osool-e ddin College, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki said that Allameh Mohammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi (RA)" had believed men's thought and contemplation to be the axis .of humanities
He further stated: In that, we say Humanities should deal with Human thought and contemplation.
The senior cleric and the member of the Assembly of Experts said: "We believe that the resolution [of a man] is from evaluation deriving from questions and inquires which are part of humanities.
The prominent reinstated that not all sciences dealing with the human s body shall be called humanities.
For instance, medicine cannot be considered humanities for it is the effect of a special phenomenon.
Arakai further said that according to Allameh Mohammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi, Al-Ghaib is the central axis of the humanities in Islam.
In the Islamic context, (al-)Ghaib is the unseen and unknown, in reference to God (Allah) and the forces that shape the world. The Quran states that man (mankind) is unable to see God and his attributes. Belief in al-Ghaib is considered an important Muslim characteristic, as it allows for prayer and faith.
