Iran Press/ Iran news: The Virtual Consultative Summit of West Asian Countries was held on Tuesday evening, June 30, to identify the prospects for the evolution of education and the exchange of educational experiences.
The ministers of education of Afghanistan, Algeria, Egypt, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, and several other Islamic countries addressed the summit.
Iranian Minister of Education Yousef Nouri said that in the world of modernity, human beings have made mistakes in terms of spiritual and moral education.
"One of these errors is secularization under the idea of pluralism and the other is destroying families under the idea of individualism."
He explained Iran's valuable experiences in drafting and implementing the Fundamental Reform Document of Education (FRDE).
Nouri concluded: Spirituality and morality are the two missing links in the contemporary world; The epidemic of oppression, corruption, and undue discrimination is rooted in a vacuum of spirituality and morality; Hence, man today must return to the religious teachings that guarantee spirituality and morality.
