Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, emphasizing Iranian peaceful nuclear program claimed that efforts to resolve safeguards issues should not lead to failure.

Iran PressIran news:  Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi raised this matter at the press conference of the US State Department claiming said: The world must not fail in Iran as it did in North Korea, which kicked out International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors."

In this regard, he said: " We have to deploy every effort to prevent such a failure, and to discuss what is happening in Iran and what can be done about it so that it does not become a failure in a country that has significant ability nuclear technology."

Safeguard claims about Iran's nuclear activities go back to four years ago, when IAEA opened a new case about the discovery of undeclared atomic particles in four alleged locations in Iran through fake documents provided by the Zionist regime. These claims were first made by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, and then fueled by the media and Western officials.

While rejecting the  false claims, the Islamic Republic of Iran has always emphasized that the obligations of countries in the field of protection are not unlimited; however, last March, during the two-day visit of IAEA Director General Grossi to Tehran, the Iranian side agred on voluntarily more verification and monitoring activities, within the framework of the strategic law of the parliament (Strategic Action Law for the Cancellation of Sanctions and Protection of the Interests of the Iranian Nation).

Earlier, Mohammad Eslami, head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), stated earlier: "The claims (safeguards) have been raised for 22 years, and we patiently, transparently, and interacted with them to resolve this issue."

He further stated that the formation of these claims is influenced by enmity, case-making and baseless accusations and pointed out that the actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran are carried out within the framework of the strategic  action law of the parliament (the law of strategic action to remove sanctions and protect the interests of the Iranian nation). 219
