Iran Press/ Iran news: Hossein Amirabdollahian said in a part of his speech at the 8th International Conference of "Mujahideen in Exile" held in Damghan: Next week, 6 Billion Euros of Iranian assets that were frozen by South Korea and recently transferred from South Korea to Switzerland will be transferred and converted from Yuan to Euro, and will enter two banks in the accounts requested by the central bank of Iran in the region.
He also continued: These 6 Billion Euros were transferred using SWIFT and in the official space of international banking exchanges, and within the framework of the agreement, this money is spent based on our needs.
Moreover, Amir Abdollahian said: This agreement includes non-sanctioned goods and does not include dual-purpose goods. This senior diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran rejected issues such as "oil versus food" and said: that such issues have no place in honorable diplomacy.
Delivering a speech at the 8th International Conference of “Mujahideen in Exile” held on Friday in Semnan's city of Damghan, east of Tehran, the capital, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian noted that "neither West nor East" is part of the Islamic Republic's Constitution.
Amir-Abdollahian Iran's foreign policy has neither tied the national interests to China nor to the US, to Russia, nor to Europe, but would interact with any side that ensures the Iranian nation's rights with respect and dignity.
The Iranian FM said he recalled the leaders of the European Troika (England, Germany, France), which always made propaganda against Iran, that they must talk with the Iranian nation out of respect; otherwise, they would receive nothing but damage.
He highlighted the high significance of the resistance approach for the Islamic Republic, noting that resistance is the pivot of the region's stability and security, which all of the regional countries should recognize well.
FM Amir-Abdollahian stressed the neutralization of the West's sanctions on Iran and the removal of them as two approaches to fight the sanctions, defined with the framework of resistance policy and referred to the release of Iran's money blocked in the UK and South Korea, which were liquidated in official banking procedures despite the sanctions.
He exampled the issue of Palestine as another pivot of the resistance approach in the Iranian foreign policy, saying many Arab states support the Palestinian cause just through words, yet the Islamic Republic has materialized its words amid the field as, after the Gaza victory in the 22-day and Lebanon's in the 33-day resistance against the Israeli regime, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution announced that Iran supported Palestine.
“Mujahideen in Exile” is a ceremony held to honor those veterans of Iran who made endeavors out of the country, in exile, to support the Islamic Revolution's causes.
Also, the closing ceremony of the 7th International Conference of “Mujahideen in Exile” was held in Damghan County, Semnan Province, last year on September 26, 2022, with the participation of 240 foreign guests from 36 countries around the world.
