Iran Press/ Europe: Members of the 'Renew Europe' group in the European Parliament have called for the lifting of sanctions against Iran, Cuba, Libya, Syria, North Korea, Venezuela and other countries to be lifted.
The letter was initiated by Javier Nart, a member of the European Parliament's Foreign Relations Committee, and signed by nine other members of parliament.
In a letter to the European Parliament, members of the Renew Europe group called on the European Council to find a way to effectively reduce sanctions against these countries.
European lawmakers have also called on the European Union's foreign policy chief to ask the United States to exempt those countries from the current sanctions.
