Iran Press/Europe: Iranian Foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian discussed bilateral affairs, the latest developments in the region and issues related to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
Zarif while recalling the unfulfilled commitments of the European side in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) underlined that the path taken by Europe would not lead to solving the problems and the only correct way would be for Europe to return to its commitments.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference 2020.
Zarif earlier held talks with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.
He also held talks with his Omani, Croatian, Chinese, Czech, Japanese, Spanish and Ukrainian counterparts.
The 56th Munich Security Conference attended by leaders from 35 countries is to be continued until Sunday 16 February.
