Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's envoy to Hungary Gholamali Rajabi Yazdi and Debrecen's mayor László Papp stressed the signing of the MoU in order to foster the exchange of municipal boards, university professors and students, as well as economic cooperation between the two countries.
Rajabi also met with Frink Miklosi, the First Vice-President of the Hungarian Chamber, and said that the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hungary welcomes the exchange of information between economic companies as well as the maintenance and enforcement of communication between the activists in the field, Iran press reported.
The First Vice-President of the Hungarian Chamber (parliament) also expressed readiness to lead a delegation of Hungarian businessmen to Iran to discuss areas of cooperation with Iranian companies.
Debrecen, northeast of Hungary, is home to more than 200,000 people, making it the second-largest city in the country.
Large international corporations are investing in the city, and the municipality of Debrecen has been successful in attracting foreign investment trough providing economic incentives.
