New strike of Israeli regime on Syria

Israeli regime's forces launched new aggression on Syria’s southern region of al-Qunaitra shortly after midnight on Thursday 30 April.

Iran PressMiddle East: The helicopters of the Israeli regime launched aggression at midnight with a number of missiles, from over the occupied Syrian Golan, on sites in the southern region of al-Qunaitra, and damages were restricted to materials, SANA reported.

The Britain-based so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported the Israeli attack. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights cited its activists who said that sporadic explosions were heard in the western part of the Daraa governorate, which is in the south-west of the country and is bordered by Jordan to the south, and occupied Palestine to the west.

Israeli aggression is the fourth one on Syria in two weeks.

United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen warned on Wednesday night of the danger of a return of terrorism and the outbreak of the coronavirus in Syria and expressed concern about the Zionist regime's attacks on the country.

The Zionist regime usually targets the positions of the Syrian army and infrastructure in order to support terrorists.
