In another part of his press conference, Iran's Government spokesman said: "It is not correct to think that priorities are changing. Rather, the basis of all the efforts of the government and the National Task Force for Combating Corona is to protect the health of the people."

"Our main strategy remains the principle of maintaining the health and life of human beings and there is no alternative to the health of society," Ali Rabiei said.

The government spokesman added: "We have been following the distancing since the first day. This terminology had not been clarified very clearly. We have followed the distancing in practice. The Physical Distancing Plan will continue until the Corona is significantly reduced and completed. If we intensified this plan on Nowruz, there was a possibility that the distances would be broken."

The government spokesman said: "Based on what I have heard or read, I declare that the decision that has been made so far and any new decision has been based on the opinion of experts, especially health experts."

Rabiei noted that the National Task Force, which has been holding meetings with the President and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and the relevant ministers and the Attorney General since March, has paid attention to all aspects of socio-economic, cultural and health.

He said that the Cabinet has almost two-thirds of its time to Corona, and has so far made decisions based on these policies.

Rabiei added: "We believe that with the policies that we are constantly developing and adapting, along with what people are doing, our motto is still to 'Stay at Home', and it is still convincing the community to stay home and come out to work in certain areas."

"There is a possibility that the corona crisis will continue in the current year," he said, adding: "We need to implement the principle of maintaining distancing and health based on healthy lifestyles. Offices cannot be closed for one year. I don't want to tell people who have patients in the field. I say work hours are 7 to 14 in the afternoon, and people who can work remotely should not be present." 101/207
