Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman appreciated China's aid in the fight against coronavirus disease (COVID-19), saying Iran has always been thankful to China in these trying times.

Iran PressIran News: "The Government and people of China lead the way in suppressing coronavirus and generously aiding countries across the world. The Chinese bravery, dedication, and professionalism in containing COVID-19 deserve acknowledgment," Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said in his tweet on Monday.

"Iran has always been thankful to China in these trying times."

Dozens of air cargoes have been sent to the Iranian people from the Chinese nation and government to fight the coronavirus.

The COVID-19 global pandemic that has swept into at least 208 countries, has infected around 1,266,000 and killed nearly 70,000 people. More than 260,000 have recovered from the disease so far.
