Iran Press/Iran News: The number of recovered people is equal to 18 percent of the total patients in Iran, which is higher than Japan, France, and Italy respectively.
"586 people in the past 24 hours have been infected with the Coronavirus and these patients are people who were recently infected because the number of laboratory testing for the virus has increased," Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour said on Wednesday
"That backlog has been cleared and test results will be available more promptly now," he added.
Since the outbreak of coronavirus in China, more than 93,000 people are known to be infected across the world, nearly 3,200 deaths have been recorded.
