Tehran (IP) - Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour said that recent claims against the trend of transparency in Iran's healthcare system are the result of anti-Iran propaganda.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency, Spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education Kianoush Jahanpour noted that Iran has taken a transparent approach over the outbreak of Coronavirus without paying attention to the political and economic considerations; the ones that some countries have taken at the moment.

"While we observed weeks of propaganda against the transparency of Iran's health system before the outbreak, anti-Iran outlets are justifying their agenda by publishing these claims," the health official said, adding that: "We have been perfectly transparent and accurate about number of victims of the Coronavirus but, unfortunately, some foreign media campaigned against Islamic Republic of Iran and put out false information."

Referring to the Coronavirus status in Iran as a result of final tests, he stressed that some media campaigned weeks and probably months against Iran but authentic media should have authentic sources.
