Iranian Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour

Tehran (IP) - Iranian Health Ministry Spokesman said illegal US sanctions against Iran do not allow the Swiss humanitarian aid channel to have wide effects on Iranian's lives.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Friday said that given the outbreak of Coronavirus across the world, the shortage of masks and disinfectant products is now a global issue.

"The price of these products has been increased in all five continents," he added.

Commenting about the recent reports of humanitarian aid via Swiss channel, the health official noted that "we cannot judge about its effectiveness on the livelihood of Iranian people unless we see its practical results."

"While illegal US sanctions against Iran are still underway, these catchy names or titles cannot change the situation. If we see practical results, we will certainly embrace them. It does not seem that these kinds of steps could have a wide effect on people's lives", Jahanpour added.
