Coronavirus death toll hits 17 in Italy

Italian authorities reported on Thursday the total 17 deaths from the Coronavirus in this country.

Iran Press/ Europe: The Coronavirus is spreading rapidly in the northern Italy, so that the country has currently the biggest outbreaks of Coronavirus and the highest number of deaths from that among the European countries.

The Italian government so far has quarantined several towns and cities in the north of the country.

The schools, universities, museums and the cinemas are closed in the northern Italian cities.

The Coronavirus which was first discovered in late December 2019 in Wuhan city, north of China, now has spread to more than 40 other countries around the world. According to the latest statistics, more than 82,000 people have been infected with the virus in the world, of which more than 32,000 have recovered and more than 2,800 died. 207
