Kish (IP) - The first flight between the Iraqi city of Sulaimaniyah and Iran's Kish Island landed with 120 passengers on January 19, at Kish International Airport, south of Iran.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Following continuous efforts of the Kish Free Trade Zone Airports Organization and Ports  Organization, the Sulaimaniyah-Kish flight route joined a total of 20 domestic and foreign flights to Kish International Airport in Hormozgan Province.

The Sulaymaniyah-Kish flight route has been launched with the aim of expanding tourism and cultural cooperation between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Passengers and tourists are handled by 'Mahan' Airline between Sulaimaniyah and Kish Island every Sunday and Wednesday. 207
