Iran Press/Iran news: Ali Abedzadeh, in an interview with Iranian state television (IRIB), said: "At the time of the incident, several domestic and foreign aircraft were flying in Iranian airspace at the same altitude of 8,000 feet, and the rumor that a missile had struck the aircraft was in no way valid. Social networks are gossiping."
"However, we have also invited France, Canada, and the United States, in addition to Ukraine, to send their representatives to Iran to review the black box information."
The Americans have raised rumors of a missile collision because it is the third American Boeing 737 crash caused by a series of failures in the past few months. They try to avoid the slip of Boeing's stock and the company's huge financial loss.
Iran called on Canada on Thursday to share its information with Tehran about the Ukrainian plane after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed Ottawa had intelligence indicating it was hit by an Iranian missile.
"We are calling on the Canadian Prime Minister and any other government that has information about the crash to hand it over to the investigation committee in Iran," Abbas Mousavi was quoted as saying by IRNA.
Meanwhile, an Iranian government spokesman denied that a Ukrainian airliner that crashed near Tehran had been hit by a missile.
"All these reports are a psychological warfare against Iran ... all those countries whose citizens were aboard the plane can send representatives and we urge Boeing to send its representative to join the process of investigating the black box," Ali Rabiei said in a statement.
