Iran Press/Iran News: The Government of the Islamic Republic announced in a statement its fifth and final step in reducing Iran's obligations under the nuclear agreement known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
"The Islamic Republic of Iran no longer faces any restrictions on its operations (including enrichment capacity, percentage of enrichment, amount of enriched material, and research and development)," the statement added.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, in its fifth step in reducing its commitments, removes the last remaining key case of its operational limitations in the nuclear agreement, namely the "limit on the number of centrifuges".
As such, the Islamic Republic of Iran's nuclear program no longer faces any operating restrictions (including enrichment capacity, percent enrichment, amount of enriched material, and R&D) and, henceforth Iran's nuclear program will go forward solely on the basis of technical needs.
Iran's cooperation with the IAEA will continue. If the sanctions are lifted and Iran benefits from the JCPOA, the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to return to its commitments. Atomic Energy Organization is obliged to take the necessary steps and arrangements in this context in coordination with the President.
