Chabahar (IP) - Due to the objectives of the drills to enhance the security of the North Indian Ocean, Navy's 3rd Naval Zone which is located off the coast of Makran is the closest and most effective area in establishing regional security, Rear Admiral Tajodini Commander of the Third Naval Zone of Iran's Navy said.

Iran Press/Iran News: Combined joint drills enhance the technical know-how and help exchange and transfer the experience of the Navy and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps naval forces, Mostafa Tajodini stated. 

Rear Admiral Mostafa Tajodini Commander of the Third Naval Zone of Iran's Navy in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News agency stated, "Around the world, navies are equipment-driven and advancing the cutting edge of technology."

"To be effective in international waters, we must be up-to-date and use other countries' experiences. Combined naval drills help raise the level of skill and help exchange and transfer of experiences of the Navy and the naval units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps," he added.

Tajodini reiterated that the Navy's Third Naval Zone is located off the coast of Mokran and in the northern Indian Ocean. Due to the objectives of the joint drills to enhance the security of the North Indian Ocean, this zone is the closest and most effective area in establishing regional security.

Sailors from China and Russia, along with units from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Islamic Republic's Navy, will be trained to improve security, skills, and experience with anticipated exercises.205
