Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani sent a congratulatory message to the Emir of Qatar, felicitating him and the people of the country on the occasion of Qatar's National Day.
In this message, the president expressed hope for bilateral, regional and international relations between Iran and Qatar, as well as among Islamic countries, Iran Press reported citing the President's official website.
President Rouhani’s message is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Your Excellency Mr Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani,
Honourable Emir of Qatar,
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations to Your Excellency and the people of your country on Qatar's National Day.
I hope that common grounds between the two countries will lead to development of bilateral, regional and international relations and cooperation through joint efforts and peace among Islamic countries and the region.
I wish Your Excellency health and success and the people of the State of Qatar prosperity.
