Tehran (IP) - Rouhani said at the news conference in Mehrabad airport that the trip to Japan and Malaysia is aimed at boosting bilateral and multilateral ties.

Iran PressIran News: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani before leaving for Malaysia and Japan described the aims of his trip to the correspondents at Mehrabad airport.

Iran's Rouhani said that the trip is going to be done on the invitation of the Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad and the Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo.

Rouhani went on to explain further that discussing the multilateral ties with the Muslim world will be at his agenda in his trip to Malaysia, Iran Press reported.

He also said that he is going to attend the Kuala Lumpur Summit with the countries including Turkey Pakistan Qatar and Malaysia participating.

"In a conference, the problems of the Muslim world including terrorism, waging war and bloodshed as well as poverty will be addressed," Iranian President added.

The Iranian president also said that ties between Iran and Japan will also be at the agenda," said Rouhani.
