President Rouhani in his message to Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said, 'I am sure that during your tenure, relations between the two countries will continue to grow, like the previous era, and their cooperation in various spheres, and in line with the unity of the Muslim world, will be enhanced.'
Mahathir Mohamad, 93, won 113 seats of the 222-seat parliament on May 9, and was elected in the 14th General Election of Malaysia as the 7th prime minister of the country
