Iran Press/ Iran news: "Iran is in a difficult situation with severe sanctions but in this situation, the country's development is not abandoned and industrial projects are underway," Ali Larijani said while speaking in the inauguration ceremony of the super project in Kermanshah.
"Iran's Parliament allocated a special budget for water supply to the villages, which was funded by the National Development Fund with Leader's order; it was a lasting service to the development of the country," he added.
The Speaker of Iran's Parliament also highlighted the importance of elections to people rule over their destiny, saying: "Today, the country needs more effort, convergence, and empathy."
With the inauguration of these projects, over 3,300 rural households with a population of over 11,705 were provided with safe and healthy drinking water.
Following a visit to Kermanshah Province, the Parliament Speaker also inagurated the first unit of 310-MW Dalahoo Combined Cycle Power Plant.
Non-oil economy needs intellectuals', investors' participation
Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said, if the Iranian economy is supposed to be considered as non-oil based and the resistive the economic cycles of Iran should be regulated so that the ground would be paved for the intellectuals as well as the investors.
Referring to recent statistics offered by Iran's Ministry of Energy Larijani called them as source of Iran's pride.
Describing these activities as the dynamic mechanism in that the engineers are working and doing their job in a frustrating situation of today, Larijani appreciated Iran's Minister of Energy Reza Ardakanian's efforts in the recent water and energy projects.
Larijani also highlighted that the logic behind every project should be clearly explained to the vigilant people of Iran so that they understand it well.
"The more intellectual deeds done by the government, the more people of the Iranian nation willing to cooperate," he said.
Larijani concluded his remarks by appreciating those involved in the Dalahoo combined cycle power plant.
