Kermanshah (IP)- The speaker of the Iranian parliament has inaugurated several projects in a visit to Kermanshah province in western Iran, with a number of projects involving the distribution of mains water and electricity to villages in the province.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking on his arrival at Kermanshah Airport on Tuesday morning, Ali Larijani said he will have a meeting with provincial officials to discuss next year's budget for construction and infrastructure projects in Kermanshah province, discussing in detail various infrastructure projects which are currently underway and being completed.

In further comments, Larijani referred to recent earthquakes in the province and said the province needs investment and reconstruction, more than other provinces, and has always been, and will continue to be, in the focus of attention of the government and the Islamic establishment.

Larijani was accompanied by senior officials, including energy minister Reza Ardakanian, and on his arrival at Shahid Ashrafi airport in Kermanshah, he was greeted by the provincial governor and other senior officials of the province.

A total of six major projects, worth 14.6 trillion Rials are expected to be inaugurated during Ali Larijani and Reza Ardakanian's visit to Kermanshah province in western Iran.
