Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday held a meeting with the Zimbabwean newly appointed ambassador, Christopher Mapanga, who submitted his credentials.
Zarif said that the Multilateral cooperation among the regional countries is profitable for all sides as well as for the regional nations, Iran press reported.
Furthermore, on Sunday Zarif held talks with the Head of the Georgian parliament friendship group with Iran Shalva Kiknavelidze.
In a meeting with Shalva Kiknavelidze, while referring to the importance of the Parliamentary friendship groups on the two sides, in the different fields of tourism, transport, and energy Iran' Zarif stressed the development of ties and cooperation in the different aspects.
In return Kiknavelidze also said that the Georgian parliament friendship group with Iran is ready for developing Iran-Georgia relations.
Iran's Foreign Minister Mohamad Javad Zarif also met Malaysian special envoy Datuk Wira Haji Marzuki. Zarif Praised the bilateral fields of cooperation between Iran and Malaysia in a meeting with the Malaysian Deputy Foreign Minister in Tehran.
Zarif stressed the expanding of the bilateral ties between the two sides especially the knowledge-based areas.
While referring to the international conference in Kuala Lumpur as well as inviting the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to participate in the event, The Malaysian top diplomat who is also the special envoy of the Malaysian Prime minister Mahathir Mohamad said that the problems of the Muslims world together with the solution in the brand new situation will be discussed.
Earlier on the day Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Envoy of Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Wira Haji Marzuki met with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araghchi in Tehran.
Iran's Top Diplomat in a different meeting, held talks with the newly appointed head of the Interests Section of Egypt in Tehran Haytham Galal.
On the very same day, the Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani held a meeting with the Head of Georgian parliament friendship group with Iran Shalva Kiknavelidze.
The two sides also discussed the challenges ahead of the two countries' relations as well as the ways of expanding economic cooperation.
Earlier, on Saturday, on its first day of the 4-day trip, the Georgian delegation met with the head of parliament friendship group of Iran and Georgia Ahmad Alireza Beigi, talking over the ways of improving mutual cooperation through parliamentary capacities of the two countries.
The delegation is to have talks with other high ranking Iranian officials including members of parliament's commission of National Security and Foreign Policy as well as some of the economic commissions, and; Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Ministers of Industry, Mining, and Commerce,Reza Rahmani; Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, Ali Asghar Mounesan and Tehran mayor Pirouz Hanachi.
