Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi has said negotiation is the sole way of solving problems and disputes.

Iran Press/Iran news: Seyyed Abbas Mousavi in comments reacting to recent stances by UAE said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes the importance of negotiation as the only way to solve the region's problems, and Tehran will do everything it can to create an appropriate space and opportunity for dialogue between countries in the region."

"Establishment of a Regional Dialogue Forum, Non-aggression pact and finally, the unveiling of the 'Hormuz Peace Endeavour' in the 74th meeting of the UN General Assembly by President Rouhani is in this context," Mousavi added. according to Iran Press.

Referring to the Presentation of 'Hormuz Peace Endeavour' to the heads of Persian Gulf states and Iraq in that session, Mousavi said: "This initiative stresses on the common security of Iran and our neighbouring countries, based on adherence to common principles, among them, refusing to use force, resolve crises peacefully through talks, respect for the sovereignty of states and restrain from interfering in the internal affairs of other nations and the right of nations to self-determination."
