Gorgan (IP) - The deputy of the Iranian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism ministry emphasized the importance of waive visa requirements for the more presence of foreign tourists in Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: "The waive visa requirements were aimed at facilitating the entry of foreign tourists to Iran is an important matter," Pouya Mahmoudian, said in an exclusive interview with Iran Press.

Pouya Mahmoudian, on the sidelines of the 13th International Festival of Iranian Ethnicities in Gorgan, Golestan province, citing the precise plans for tourism development had been formulated, added, it is very important to us to attract tourists by easing the visa.

Referring to Iran-China cooperation on tourism industry the Deputy Minister of Iran's Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism said, "Iran is trying to sign a cooperation document with China within the framework of China's 'One Belt One Road' Initiative', so that the two countries use capabilities of each other in the field of handicrafts."

The 13th Iranian Ethnicities International kicked off Tuesday at the Gorgan International Exhibition Center for 4 days.

Ambassadors from China, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Bolivia, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Greece are attending the festival.
