Iran Press/Europe: Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the Scandinavian country will be hosting Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

Zarif will visit Helsinki on August 19 to hold talks with Finland’s President Sauli Niinisto, Development, Cooperation and Foreign Trade Minister Ville Skinnari, and Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto, reported Iran Press.

In his meetings, the Iranian Foreign Minister will discuss the bilateral ties, the latest international and regional developments, and Finland's presidency of the Council of the European Union.

“I am looking forward to the discussion with Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif. Tensions in the Gulf of Persia (Persian Gulf) have an impact on the entire world. The importance of maintaining dialogue is emphasized in this situation,” Finland’s Foreign Minister said.
