Tehran-Yerevan power transmission project underway: Armenian envoy

Armenian ambassador to Iran said that electricity transmission between the two sides is being carried.

Iran PressIran News: Armenia’s ambassador to Tehran Artashes Toumanian said on Monday that the joint developmental projects of the two sides have not been closed and halted and Armenia is ready to accelerate the third power transmission mutual project.

Toumanian’s remarks came as he was participating in the online conference on the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak in the region.

In 2017, Iran has been introduced as Armenia’s 6th major trading partner which is about a year it turns out to be the fifth one for the Armenian capital of Yerevan.

At the present time, Iran Armenia, a mutual trading level surpasses more than 320 million US dollars most of which belong to the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry as well as an increase in Gas and electricity exchanges and in the energy sector. 207/104
