Armenian Health Minister appreciates Iran action against Coronavirus

The Armenian Minister of Health in a telephone conversation with the Health Minister of Iran appreciated Iran's efforts to contain the Coronavirus spread.

Iran PressAsia: The Armenian Minister of Health also expressed hope that the Iranian health system would succeed in this regard as well. Health Minister Saeed Namaki, for his part, called for broader measures based on WHO standards nationwide, notably to improve health at border terminals, to conduct medical examinations for inbound and outbound travelers at international airports and the land border stations.

He also stressed the importance of strengthening health surveillance at border crossings for the transit of goods and coordinating preventive measures and joint sanitary controls. 

Untill Tuesday the total number of people diagnosed with Coronavirus disease in Iran has reached 2336 people, 77 of them have died, and 435 recovering.

According to Deputy Health Minister Alireza Raisi, Gilan province, Qom and Tehran are at the forefront of dealing with the coronavirus.
