Ghalibaf:

Tehran (IP) - The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, stating that the ballot boxes are the greatest and most important political and social capital of the country, has said that creating economic stability in Iran depends on choosing the right and efficient management.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press, this morning (Friday, June 18), Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf attended the Abuzar Mosque in Tehran to cast his ballot for the 13th presidential election, the 6th city, and rural Islamic councils' election, the mid-term election of the 5th term of the Assembly of Experts, and the mid-term election of the 11th term of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly told reporters: "Elections are the fruit of religious democracy in our country, and our people were able to preserve the republic and the Islamic system through their efforts."

He noted: "Ballot boxes are the greatest and most important political and social capital of the country, like the city councils that work for the people at the local level and the president at the level of the executive branch."

Ghalibaf added: "Elections are a great opportunity for the people to change the face of the country's management concerning their criticisms. Therefore, it is their duty to make a careful choice because they want to hand over the administration of the country to their representatives at the national and local level for 4 years anyway."

The Speaker stated: "It is our duty as people's representatives in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, as the law has enabled us, to follow the demands of the people and the plan of the future administration, as well as monitoring the performance of Islamic city councils and municipalities and seriously monitor and follow the demands of the people in this regard so that they do not feel that the promises made will not be fulfilled."

He said: "God willing, the future administration will be able to work with the cooperation of the other two branches of the government in a way that will satisfy our dear people with the priority of solving economic problems, so the solution is not to get angry with the ballot boxes, but we must go to the polls."

Ghalibaf underlined: "The main root of our current problems is inefficiency in the field of management, not the lack of facilities and credits. At the same time, the country has high capacities, so with good effort and proper management, we can restore economic stability to the country in a defined plan."
