Iran Press/ West Asia: On Friday morning, Nine Palestinians, including children and at least one baby, were killed in the Israeli strike on a home in Rafah, UNRWA reported.
Medics from the Palestinian Red Crescent are transporting the nine Palestinians killed and 13 wounded from an Israeli air strike in the al-Masha’la area of Deir el-Balah, the aid group says.
According to a new report by "Save the Children" organization at least 10,000 children have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza.
The UN body also reported that at least 330 people have been killed while sheltering in its facilities in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The organization has said from about 2.3 million people living in the Strip, at least 1.4 million Palestinians are sheltering in its facilities, with another half a million staying in areas close to them.
Since October 7, at least 23,469 people have been killed and more than 59,604 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza.
From Friday morning, Israeli jets have carried out low-altitude air strikes south of Gaza City, as heavy machine-gun battles take place in the area, our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic are reporting.
In central Gaza, an air strike also hit the Bureij refugee camp, according to an Al Jazeera Arabic correspondent.
Also, the Israeli Air Force launched an attack on a building in Khan Younis, killing seven people. Israel claimed that targeted Hamas fighters and killed “dozens” of Hamas fighters, including a local commander in the Al-Maghazi neighborhood who had taken part in the October 7 attack.
In the early morning of Friday, the bodies of 30 people killed in the latest wave of Israeli strikes in Gaza have been brought to hospitals in Khan Younis, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
The reported toll comes as Israeli artillery fire continues to hit residences in the southern city.
Last night was another hard night for Palestinians in Gaza. Israeli strikes intensified overnight and five Palestinians were killed in Deir el-Balah when their home was destroyed.
Khan Younis and areas throughout central Gaza have also been hit with heavy artillery shelling.
Israeli forces caused widespread damage to the infrastructure of Nur Shams camp east of the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarem after a raid that lasted for about seven hours.
