Iran Press/ Africa: It is the Liverpool FC forward’s second comment on Israel’s war on Gaza, having previously called for an end to “massacres” and an appeal for humanitarian aid to be allowed into the besieged enclave.
Israel started its military aggression against Gaza on October 7 following an operation by the territory's resistance groups, dubbed Operation al-Aqsa Storm. More than 20,674 people have been killed and 54,536 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 7. The revised death toll from Hamas’s attack on Israel stands at 1,139.
