Iranian Greco-Roman national wrestling team snatched 5 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals in International Mukhran Vakhtangadze Tournament in Georgia.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian wrestlers, Mohammad Reza Mokhtari, Mohammad Naqusi, Hossein Forouzandeh, Hassan Forouzandeh and Abolfazl Seyyed Mahdavi received gold medals.

Saeed Arjmand and Hamed Abdevali in the weight categories of 63 and 97 kg grabbed silver medals.

International Mukhran Vakhtangadze Tournament was held in Batumi on 29 and 30 March, IRNA reported.

Ali Nourbakhsh, Bahram Maroufkhani and Mohammad Reza Rostami also received bronze medals in the weight categories of 55, 67 and 72 kg, respectively.

Abolfazl Seyyed Mahdavi was also honored with the title of the most technical athlete. 

Mukhran Vakhtangadze is a Georgian wrestler who competed in the Men's Freestyle 85 kg at the 2000 Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal. He also competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics, but was eliminated early. Vakhtangadze won the World Championship in 2001. 105/211/201
