One Palestinian martyred when Israeli aircraft targeted resistance positions in the Gaza strip.

Iran Press/Middle East: Israeli military said in a statement that its fighter jets attacked resistance forces’ positions in the Gaza strip on Friday night, as a result of which one Palestinian was martyred and another critically injured.

Israeli military claimed that the attacks on Gaza strip happened in reaction to Palestinians' attack at Israel by a projectile, Iran Press reported.

The air attack happened after 22 Palestinians were wounded by the Israeli military when they shot indiscriminately into the crowd taking part in the 'Great March of Return' protests for the 50th consecutive Friday in the Gaza strip.

Some 267 Palestinians have been killed and over 27,000 Palestinians wounded by live rounds used by Israeli soldiers since the demonstrations began in March 2018.

Palestinian protests 'Great March of Return', began on 30 March 2018, for the commemoration of Land Day, when in 1976 six Palestinian citizens in the occupied lands were killed by Israeli forces after protesting the confiscation of their land. 101/211/201
