Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned Pakistan ambassador to Iran Riffat Masood on Sunday over the recent terrorist attack in Zahedan, southeastern Iran which claimed the lives of IRGC forces and injured some others, Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

Iran Press/Asia: Referring to increase in terrorist measures from inside Pakistan soil, including the recent attack in Khash-Zahedan road, Iran issued its complaint, Bahram Ghassemi said.

Iran expects Pakistani government and army to confront seriously against bases and movements of the terrorist groups active in its common borders with Iran, he added.

During the meeting, Iran underlined the fact that Pakistan government should not let terrorist groups cause insecurity, lack of confidence and pessimism between the two countries by its terrorist and inhumane acts, Ghassemi noted.

Pakistan government was urged to take necessary measure to arrest those agents affiliated with the recent terrorist attack, he reiterated.

Masood also said she would convey Iran's complaint to Pakistani government, IRNA reported.

On February 13, The IRGC statement noted that an explosive-laden car rammed into the bus on the road between the cities of Zahedan and Khash.
