Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, along with many other senior officials, including Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani, Judiciary spokesman Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, and Deputy Coordinator of the Iranian Army Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, joined people to celebrate the anniversary of Islamic Revolution’s victory.
Iranian President is scheduled to address the rally at Azadi Square, Iran Press reported.
Despite cold and rainy weather millions of Iranians from all walks of life have braved snow and rain to take part in nationwide rallies marking the 40th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The rallies commemorate February 11, 1979, when followers of the late Imam Ruhollah Khomeini ousted a US-backed monarch, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
