(IP) - A delegation from Iran's Ministry of Roads and Urban Development visited Karachi, the capital of Sindh in Pakistan, to facilitate communication services for Pakistani visitors to Iran.

Iran PressAsia: Important meetings will be held between the Iranian delegation headed by Hamidreza Shahraki, the Minister of Information and Public Transport of Sindh and the president and the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) members.

The Islamic Republic of Iran hosts thousands of pilgrims and tourists from Pakistan who travel to Iran to visit the Holy Shrines.

Iran is Pakistani pilgrims and tourists' closest and most economical transit route.

The deputy of transportation of the Road and Road Transport Organization earlier met with Iran's Consul General Hassan Noorian in Karachi and the parties exchanged views on the latest developments related to bilateral cooperation, including the state of the borders of the two countries to facilitate the pilgrimage trips of Pakistani nationals during the days of Muharram and Safar .

They are also some members of the Sistan and Baluchistan Transport Association are also present in this visit, and the issue of granting permission to Pakistani buses to enter Iran to facilitate the travel of citizens of this country is also going to be discussed.
