Islamabad (IP) - The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the gas condensate refinery in the northwest of this country, which resulted in the death of 6 members of the Pakistani security forces.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press on Thursday, the Public Diplomacy and Media Department of the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad issued a statement condemning the attack on the facilities of a gas refinery located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which resulted in the death of 6 security forces.

It is stated in this statement: "The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its condolences to the families of the victims by expressing regret over the death of Pakistani forces in this terrorist attack."

According to Pakistani news sources, terrorists attacked a gas refinery in northwestern Pakistan on Tuesday morning, during which four policemen and two security guards were killed.

The terrorist outfit called Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for this attack. For years, the Pakistani Taliban have been carrying out terrorist attacks from remote mountains located in the northwest and near the borders of this country with Afghanistan, and most of these attacks are carried out against the security forces and government infrastructure of Pakistan.
