Tehran (IP) - The Food and Drug Organization of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the National Administration of Food and Spices of Afghanistan signed a memorandum of understanding for the supply of medicine, goods, and health and medical equipment.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press, this memorandum of understanding was signed in Tehran on the sidelines of the visit of Abdulbari Omar, the head of the National Food and Spices Administration of Afghanistan, and Haider Mohammadi, the head of the Iranian food and drug organization (FDO), in order to develop and consolidate cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.

Exchange of information and experiences in the field of policies and programs of the pharmaceutical system, food and process safety, training and empowerment of the managers and experts of the pharmaceutical system of the parties regarding skill-building courses in fields such as recording technical files, requirements and mechanisms for conducting clinical studies, bioequivalence of standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), monitoring and tracking system and controlling the authenticity of health products (Tracing, Tracking and Authentication Control System), regulation of matters related to spices, health products, and food safety are among the provisions of this memorandum.
