Tehran (IP) - The farewell ceremony for the Iranian Hajj pilgrims' departure for Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia, is underway in Tehran.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking at the ceremony on Wednesday, the Head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Abbas Hosseini said that 87,550 pilgrims will go to Hajj rituals within the next month. 

The first group of pilgrims will leave the country for Saudi Arabia Wednesday, May 24.
