Tehran (IP) - The first group of Haj pilgrims left Iran for Saudi Arabia.

Iran PressIran news: The first flight of this group was early on Wednesday morning.

This year's caravan of pilgrims will leave with the slogan of Hajj, Quranic evolution, Islamic convergence, and support of Qods.

Seyyed Abbas Hosseini, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, in this ceremony, said that in the next month, 87,550 pilgrims will be transferred from 21 flight stations in Iran.

He added that all the necessary facilities have been provided and the troops are stationed in Mecca and Medina.

Hosseini emphasized that all organizations involved in Hajj will try to ensure that the pilgrims do not have to worry about housing, food, and transportation.

It should be mentioned that 30% of pilgrims will leave for Saudi Arabia from Imam Khomeini Airport.
