Beirut (IP) - A member of Bahrain's Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society said that establishing relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran is to the benefit of Bahrain.

Iran PressMiddle East: After the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia restored their relations after seven years, Bahrain has announced its readiness to restore relations with Iran.

In an interview with Iran press correspondent about the efforts of the Bahraini government to establish relations with Iran, the member of Bahrain's Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Youssef Rabieh, stated that Bahrain has neighborly, religious and social relations with Iran; hence, the restoration of relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran is important.

Rabieh further said that Bahrain is facing many problems, adding that the government of Bahrain needs to restore relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran because with this action, its isolation in the region will be ended.

The member of Bahrain's Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society also commented on the latest state of the popular movement in this country. After 12 years, the people of Bahrain are still patient and determined to achieve their goals.

Earlier, Bagher Darwish, the head of the Bahrain Human Rights Center, in an interview with Iran Press, emphasized the latest situation of the Bahraini people's revolution.
